Gazelle is the test bed aimed at testing the interoperability
of eHealth information systems

Catalyst supports, enables, and deploys the evolution of Gazelle to a third generation: it is an essential asset of its business strategy.

Gazelle is an open-source, web-based test platform supporting a wide portfolio of interoperability test tools designed to validate interface conformity to IHE Profiles and project-specific, standards-based interoperability specifications.
Vendors can validate their eHealth projects to obtain the interfaces they deploy.

With capability and skillfulness, Catalyst defines a clear roadmap and test path to ensure interoperability and accelerate the process, at a very large scale. Gazelle is the key in this path, realising collaboration through the people behind IHE and the interoperability ecosystem. In today’s complex and diverse healthcare ecosystem, using the right testing tools is strategic for stakeholders and for IHE Catalyst itself. For this reason, Catalyst provides and enables the tools for testing, with Gazelle being the leading tool system globally.

Gazelle delivered either as an in-house version or a cloud-based version.

Fully supported by IHE-Catalyst, Gazelle embarked on a renewal programme by prioritising customer needs, identified during the Projectathon and Connectathon.
